Pain-Free Laser Gum Surgery Ft. Lauderdale FL
Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure, or LANAP (as it is more commonly known), is revolutionizing today’s treatment of periodontal disease. Dr. McCawley and Dr. DeTure were the first practice in Broward County to offer this revolutionary technology. In addition to the clinical benefits, LANAP therapy provides significantly less pain, recession, bleeding and root sensitivity and minimal swelling and downtime after treatment. We can achieve all these benefits in only one visit since the laser therapy also eliminated the often painful deep scaling visit. This makes it ideal for patients who are fearful of conventional periodontal deep scaling and cutting and stitching surgery.
Dental Implants Ft. Lauderdale FL
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.
Dental implants are changing the way people live. With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life. For more information about dental implants or to schedule a consultation appointment, call our office in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at 954-522-3228.

If you are unhappy with the appearance of short unsightly teeth this can be greatly improved by a combination of periodontal procedures by Drs. McCawley and DeTure and cosmetic dentistry by your dentist. For more information about cosmetic periodontal surgery or to schedule a consultation appointment, call our office in Ft. What Makes Our Practice Unique Ft. Lauderdale FL
There are many different dental practices that offer similar treatment but there are several distinctions that make our office one of a kind. We are the one practice that has the most experience in the world treating periodontal disease with lasers; over 20 years and 6,600 patients.
We are the only practice with two clinical periodontists involved in a multicenter study comparing laser treatment with conventional surgery. There are only three universities and one other clinician involved.
Our practice has over 30 years experience successfully managing recurrent periodontal disease by treating the bacterial cause rather than just the effects of the bacteria. We have administered over 4,000 cultures and 150,000 microscope slides to find and eliminate the source of the infection.
We believe treatment should be gentle, and offer many treatments that involve no cutting or stitches. Our laser treatments, sedations options and the use of our Wand make it easy for fearful patients to receive the gentle treatment they desire.
We are one of only a few practices that do gingival grafting by avoiding the palate. This results in a much more gentle procedure with much less discomfort afterwards.
